    Safe mask option

I'm a Preventive Medicine Physician. I've spent years in practice around industry where “masks” play a crucial role as often the last line of defense when all process designs fail to protect. The data on the "non-traditional masks" is trickling in. This article points out the surprising efficacy of polypropylene for a thin fabric (read comfort). It also speaks to the additive effects of layering disparate materials. The masks I purchased exploit both of these design elements to the comfort of the wearer in this case my wife and I. ACS Nano. 2020 Apr 24 : acsnano.0c03252. Published online 2020 Apr 24. doi: 10.1021/acsnano.0c03252 This second publication speaks to the filtering ability of polypropylene and more telling the shortcomings of typical neck gaiter type masks. The graph shows the lower particle count exiting the polypropylene mask. Science Advances 02 Sep 2020: Vol. 6, no. 36, eabd3083 DOI: 10.1126/sciadv.abd3083 I'm very satisfied with our purchase of the masks plus liners (admittedly sometimes go with just the mask) from Serene Teaz! P.S.: My wife loves the Leopard Print!
