Did you know that tea can get picked up to three times a year--not all teas but most of them. 

When tea gets harvested, the first harvest is called the 1st flush.This usually tends to have a higher price than the following pickings in that year. 

The first crop of the year is very exciting for tea lovers! Since tea is a crop, the flavors can change due to soil, rain and the amount of sun it gets.
