Tea 101-03

Green Tea has many health benefits, hence why more people are drinking it.

Green tea goes through a manufacturing process which makes it different from white tea. Green tea is either pan fired or steamed. Different countries have their own style.

When you are steeping your green tea, you do need to watch it more carefully. How much tea you use and how long you steep it for is critical to your taste pallet. Remember everyone tastes tea a little differently and some like their teas lighter or stronger then others. When steeping green tea, remember not to use boiling water. The temperature should range from 160 -185 degrees. If you don't want to use a thermometer, turn off the water before it reaches boiling. Let it sit for a couple minutes before pouring over your leaves.
